Time Leverage

You're in every session, every call, every draft. Output = your hours. Time leverage is using systems, tools, or people to create output without spending your time. It's the primary goal of automation and delegation: someone or something else does the work so you don't have to be in the room.

Same result, less of your time. Your VA runs the intake form and books the call; you show up for the 45-minute strategy session, not the two hours of back-and-forth. Your associate runs the first draft of the report; you do the review and client conversation. A recorded module or a self-serve course delivers value while you sleep. Time leverage is the opposite of "only I can do this." You keep the parts only you can do; the rest runs without you.

Someone or something else does the work. You show up for the high-leverage moment.

How to get it

  1. Automate the repeatable. Workflow automation for sequences: when client signs, send onboarding email, create folder. Booking tools, email sequences, CRM triggers—they run without your presence.

  2. Delegate the repeatable. Once you've documented how something is done (SOP, documentation), someone else can run it. You do the exception handling and the bar (quality gate).

  3. Productize so delivery scales. A cohort or a course serves many people per hour of your time. You're in the room for the live moment; the rest runs without you.

Where to go next

Handing off work delegation, team leverage
Automating sequences workflow automation
Multiplying output business leverage, productization
